We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that conditions, regulations, or product availability described are current at the time of reading.

You may read, share, and link to our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce or republish our content in bulk, scrape the Site, or use our content to build competing products without written permission.

6. Wayfinder and Subscriptions

Wayfinder is an on-demand professional-grade fishing plan that helps you avoid wasted trips on the wrong spot, wrong species, or wrong time of day. Free accounts may request one plan per calendar month; the Captain subscription ($2.99/month or $24/year) unlocks 30 plans per month, plan history, ratings, trip-day dossier emails, and regenerate-with-tweaks. Subscriptions auto-renew on the same calendar day each period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or the Stripe billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused time.

We may modify subscription pricing or feature limits with reasonable notice. We may suspend or terminate your account for fraud, abuse, or material breach of these terms.

7. AI-Generated Content

Wayfinder plans are generated by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) using your trip inputs and public conditions data (NOAA buoys, USGS gauges, weather, tides, solunar windows, and recent regional reports). Generated plans are guidance based on aggregated public data — they are not a substitute for local knowledge, current regulations, or your own judgment on the water. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Verify any size-limit, slot-limit, or season information against your state fish-and-wildlife agency before keeping any fish. Conditions can shift quickly; check forecasts again before launching.

You are solely responsible for decisions you make on the water. We are not liable for outcomes — fishing or otherwise — that result from following or relying on a Wayfinder plan.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Fishing involves inherent risks — always prioritize safety on the water. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of this Site or reliance on its content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Connecticode LLC and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed $100.

We may link to third-party websites, including product retailers and external resources. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites. Visiting third-party links is at your own risk.

11. Governing Law
